Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication technology that enables data exchange between fixed devices and mobile devices.BLE (Bluetooh Low Energy) technology is a short-range, low-cost, interoperable wireless technology that uses many intelligent means to minimize power consumption.
The operating mode of BLE technology is ideal for transmitting data from tiny wireless sensors (data is exchanged every half a second) or other peripherals such as remote controls using fully asynchronous communication.
Currently, all smartphones are equipped with BLE functionality, and it has become an important tool for car manufacturers, bringing many benefits such as improved efficiency and convenient operation to cars. For example, integrating BLE into car smart access systems can greatly improve the end-user experience., BLE key fobs or smartphones enable hands-free control of car door locks and ignition, as well as digital key-based car sharing and other functions.
In this issue, we introduce SENASIC's newly launched 32-bit automotive-grade wireless SOC SNJ32W103. SNJ32W103 is a Bluetooth chip that meets the AECQ-100 Grade 1 certification standards."
As an automotive-grade, high-performance, low-power Bluetooth BLE chip, SNJ32W103 features an Arm? Cortex?-M0+ core, 80KB of RAM, and 512KB of Flash memory. It supports two modes of operation at 16MHz and 64MHz frequencies and includes a dedicated 4KB RAM iCache. The chip supports SWD download mode and BLE 5.1 full protocol stack. The 2.4G RF section can function independently as a 2.4G transceiver and supports user-defined data transmission formats.
SNJ32W103 integrates a variety of peripherals, including a 16-bit ADC, I2C, UART, SPI, CAN-FD, LIN-Flex, SENT, GPIO, RTC, and Timer,SPI, UART, and LIN-Flex.Support DMA. The chip supports deep sleep and sleep modes, making it highly suitable for automotive intelligent wireless network and other application scenario.
